Spring Kundalini Meditation and Soundbath

with Randiah Camille Green

April 11, 2026 | 1:00-2:30pm

Welcome the energy of spring with a nourishing practice designed to reconnect you to the deeper layers of your being. This workshop explores the yogic concept of the 10 bodies—mental, physical, and energetic sheaths that shape how we think, feel, and move through the world.
Guided by Randiah, you’ll experience the Kriya for the 10 Bodies, a powerful Kundalini sequence that supports personal renewal and alignment during this season of rebirth.
We’ll close with an extended sound bath using crystal singing bowls, an ocean drum, rattles, and guided vocal tones to help you integrate what arises and settle into a state of ease.

Rooted: Exploring + Expanding the Depths of Your Yoga Practice

2 Day Weekend Immersion with Rebecca Murawski + Dana Johnson

April 17 & 18, 2026 | Friday 5-9pm & Saturday 1-5pm

Two days to tend the soil of your practice and remember what drew you to the mat in the first place.
ROOTED is for students and teachers who feel steady in their physical practice but are craving something more… a deeper connection to yoga’s wisdom, a clearer sense of purpose, and a felt experience of yoga as a way of being-not just doing. You’ll step away from autopilot and back into intention through movement, breath, reflection, and grounded community.

Reset: Cultivating Clarity and Renewal

Facilitated by Olivia Franklin and Andrew Beer, (M.A., LLC)

Saturday March 21st | 12:00p-4:00p

You may be arriving with the lingering weight of winter—mentally, physically, or energetically. Perhaps you’re feeling the pressure to move forward before you’re ready.

RESET is an invitation to pause.
This half-day meditation retreat offers a calm, supportive container to slow down, disconnect from constant input, and reconnect with steady presence as we move toward spring.

The afternoon includes:
Noble silence held in a supportive, community-centered container
Alternating periods of sitting and walking meditation
Clear, guided instruction and short talks rooted in early Buddhist teachings

A brief break will be offered midway through the retreat. Participants are asked to remain off their phones to support the shared container, and modifications will be available to support all bodies.

The Lab

Detroit Yoga Lab is not a stage for perfect poses — it’s an experiment in real-life yoga. A refuge for people healing through lived experience, not performance. We offer yoga, pilates, breathwork, somatics, and movement practices rooted in philosophy, nervous-system support, and a quiet rebellion against performative wellness.

We teach yoga like your life depends on it… because sometimes it does. We meet people in the depths and help them rise — not by bypassing the hard parts, but by honoring them. Breath by breath. Body by body. We don’t fit people into shapes — we meet bodies where they are, adapting the practice to serve the person, not the pose.

Our community is for the seekers, skeptics, survivors, artists, and feelers — the “land of the misfit toys.” Many of our teachers bring trauma-sensitive training; all offer choice-based, invitational cueing so you remain in charge of your body.

And as the first studio in Detroit to offer infrared-heated classes, we’re expanding what a healing space can feel like: cleaner heat, softer on joints, deeper for muscles, supportive for your nervous system. Hot or unheated, every class is built to help you slow down, feel more, and remember who you are.
